I've learned that understanding people drives process improvements, and that having diversity of thought (roles, backgrounds, etc.) within a project helps us catch and resolve user experience (UX) issues more quickly than we might otherwise, so I constantly seek opportunities to connect with others, capture their perspective, and automate my tasks.
Throughout my twelve-year career in Information Technology, I’ve held systems admin and communication roles across a variety of departments and industries. These experiences taught me about the criticality of multidisciplinary work and led to my BA in Interdisciplinary Studies, where I argued the connection between business and culture in the United States. In tandem, the goal of my website (where I offer freelance web design and generative AI consulting services) is to share my love of writing, expertise in business analytics, talent for web design, and passion for creating a more equitable, socially conscious, data-driven world.

Perhaps you're familiar with Figma’s mission to make design accessible to all. Similarly, my mission is to help people brainstorm, design, and build products (especially online spaces) that maximize the benefits of complex technology so that advances in technology are accessible.
In my career, I’ve leveraged friendly conversations, generative AI, and workflow automation to streamline workflows and enhance customer experiences in the organizations I’ve served. Even before AI was widely available, I worked with Product teams at Fidelity National Financial to translate customer feedback into product enhancements, leading to a 20% improvement in user experience over 6 months.
Later, managing communications, knowledge bases, and process optimizations was critical to my success at UNF. I led communication strategies for ServiceNow upgrades; navigated the introduction of Microsoft Copilot to campus; wrote and edited knowledge articles for Workday in ServiceNow; developed/delivered training for LinkedIn; edited graphics, recorded video, and wrote copy for UNF’s collaboration with Adobe Creative Campus. My ability to build conversational flows for ServiceNow to support the service desk, optimize chatbot performance, and drive automation surrounding intentional design and targeted communication aligns perfectly with common goals such as scaling support or improving AI capabilities.

Brainstorm
First, I define the problem or inspiration. Then, I bring my ideas to a group discussion to create a baseline for measuring progress.

During the design phase, I sketch a wireframe of my idea and doodle my thoughts on paper before moving to a digital space.

When creating products or managing projects, I use the 80/20 rule to set initial goals and employ iterative development.

With twelve years of experience in IT operations, product support, and customer experience, I’m qualified and capable of supporting organizations that seek to optimize AI support chats, implement internal AI tools, and drive automation while delivering excellent service. Throughout AI’s rise, I’ve pursued a practical understanding of how generative AI supports design systems. I’m eager to bring my expertise to companies that values accessibility, collaboration, and innovation.
Beyond my corporate experience, I actively experiment with generative AI, web design, and workflow automation in my freelance work, teaching online creators how to build compelling websites and simplify their workflows using AI-driven solutions. Furthermore, my background in technical documentation, project management, product development, cross-functional leadership, digital marketing, and UX design makes me uniquely positioned to bridge the gap between AI-driven technology and user-friendly implementation.
